Homless Shelter Closing
A Prayer request from Brother Bruce Aspgren:
The homeless shelter Martha's Kitchen in Temple Texas I being closed by the city. code problems. 80 men to be out by Monday 8. I will be helping about 10 to 15 to relocate to other towns. Please pass on this prayer request.
Father give strength to the men and keep their mental health clear give them favor in this time of travel and hold up the ones intrusted with their care for this is a test that only you can prove to be God. Bless them with peace and the comforter we ask in Jesus name amen brbruce
Praying in agreement with you Bruce, and praying for the hearts of folks with the ability to stand up and lend a hand to swell with Christ's love for these once again homeless people! Amen and Amen!
James 2:
14What doth it profit, my brethren, though a man say he hath faith, and have not works? can faith save him?
15If a brother or sister be naked, and destitute of daily food,
16And one of you say unto them, Depart in peace, be ye warmed and filled; notwithstanding ye give them not those things which are needful to the body; what doth it profit?

Praise report The Judge in the cause has stopped the city and the shelter is still open.This week the Court will offer a office and have people who are doing community service start to do the maintenance on the needed issues.

This is so sad. I have been spending quite a bit of time with Homeless folks in the past year and I can tell you that this hurts!
Praying that God will provide. We know that Gods homeless will be fine as he promises to feed them, but it is the others who need our prayers all the more.
